FC Regina Winterfest Youth Tournament Invitation

We are excited to invite you to participate in the 2026 FC Regina Winterfest Youth Tournament, taking place from January 14 to January 18, 2026, at the AffinityPlex on the REAL District grounds (1700 Elphinstone Street, Regina).

This tournament brings together teams from across the region, providing a fun and competitive environment for youth players of all levels.
For traveling teams (more than 100 km away), your first game will not be scheduled before **4:00 PM on Thursday, January 15 **.
Games may begin as early as 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the tournament will wrap up by **6:00 PM on Sunday, January 18 **. 


Team Registration Process

Team registration is online only and available through through the registration link here.

Please ensure that your team registration is submitted by 5:00 PM on December 15, 2025.
Once registered, teams will receive a confirmation receipt by email. If you do not receive one, please contact youth@fcregina.com to confirm that your information was received.
Important: your receipt is not confirmation of acceptance into the tournament.

Registration fees must be paid in full prior to the registration deadline (December 15). Incomplete registrations will be removed.
Teams will receive official confirmation of acceptance via email by December 20, 2025.
Teams not accepted will be refunded their registration fee. Any roster changes must be submitted by January 7, 2026.

 Registration Fees (3-Game Guarantee)

  • U9: $400 per team

  • U11 (all divisions): $550 per team

  • U13 to U19 (all divisions): $650 per team

 Payment must be received by the registration deadline to secure your entry.

Age Groups & Eligibility

  • U9 - Born 2017 or 2018

  • U11 - Born 2015 or 2016

  • U13 - Born 2013 or 2014

  • U15 - Born 2011 or 2012

  • U17 - Born 2009 or 2010

  • U19 - Born 2007 or 2008

Game Format

  • U9: 5 v 5 (incl. GK) - modified ¼ field, size 3 ball

  • U11 (all divisions): 7 v 7 (incl. GK) - ¼ field, size 4 ball

  • U13-U19 (all divisions): 7 v 7 (incl. GK) - ¼ field, size 5 ball

 Team Rosters & Personnel

  • Rosters must be entered at the time of registration and may include up to 14 players.

  • Roster changes or additions must be approved by the Tournament Committee and are not permitted within 7 days of the tournament start date.

  • Each team may list a maximum of 4 team staff on their bench.

  • All team personnel must meet Canada Soccer Safe Sport Roster and SSA Minimum Coaching Standards requirements.

  • Guest Players: Maximum of 5 per team, must be approved by the Tournament Committee and listed as “Affiliate Players (AP)” at registration.


 Additional Information

  • All out-of-province or out-of-country teams must submit a travel permit to FC Regina before the tournament start.

  • Teams must check in at Tournament Headquarters at least one hour before their first game.

  • Team Status Forms are due by January 7, 2026 (late submissions subject to a $50 fee).

  • Award presentations will take place on the field after final games or in the AffinityPlex common area.

  • Admission: Weekend Pass $10 | Day Pass $5 | Free for players and up to 4 team staff.

Stay and Play

FC Regina has a sponsorship agreement with D3H -Home Inn East, Home Inn Airport, Days Inn East, Days Inn Airport, and Ramada Plaza downtown to get preferred pricing on room bookings for all the travelling teams to our tournaments.

As part of the registration, you will be required to book at one of the above-mentioned hotels. You must book directly with one of our partner hotels and not through a 3rd party website.

You will be required to forward your booking confirmation to FCR at youth@fcregina.com or execassist@fcregina.com to complete your registration.

Team Status Form:

All Non-FCR Saskatchewan Teams must complete the Team Status Form and submit to the FCR office - youth@fcregina.com by end of day January 7, 2025.  For team status form please click HERE!
